Folk Tales teach us that we all are never too old to set another goal and to see a new dream.
Our ISA Activity, “Making Table Mats Mapping the folk Tales” of Sri Lanka, Korea and India further enhanced our students’ knowledge regarding the folk tales that float around the world. The research based activity exposed the students to a whole new world of legends and folklores that taught them some new lessons of life, leaving them more thoughful and wise.
Working in groups of six, the students made interesting, stylish and elegant table mats. Even the teachers were awe-struck to see the skillful professional touch in the independent, first hand work of VII and VIII graders who strongly proved that amalgmation of interest and imagination can work wonders.
